Health & Safety Policy

The directors accept overall responsibility for co-ordination and delivery of Health and Safety Policy towards all staff.

Our policy is to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all employees, and to provide such information, training, supervision and support as they need for this purpose. We also accept our responsibility for the health and safety of other people who may be affected by our activities.

The day to day allocation of duties for safety matters and the particular arrangements that we will make to implement the policy are set out on the company notice board.

All employees will be issued with a Health & Safety Policy Supplement with their Employee Handbook. New employees will be given basic Health & Safety awareness training during their Induction.

Induction will also include an introduction to First Aiders and indicate the emphasis of the employee's responsibility to conduct themselves in a safe and responsible manner with regard to their own Health & Safety and other members of the work force.

Job training regarding the various aspects of Health & Safety with regard to the equipment and materials used, will be delivered by the relevant supervisor or suitably trained personnel.
